So I managed to miss last weeks recap, but posting one semiweekly seems to work out just fine
The past two weeks have been all about development. Spring is here, new growth as well as new ideas are sprouting!
Plantiis Carnivorous Plant Game
Teaser for a new iPhone / iPad game Plantiis is working on!
We’ll be posting behind more scenes as we development the game! Stay tuned
Air Layering induces axillary bud growth, by tricking the plant into thinking the soil is actually higher.
Grape and Tayberries Buds
More of the fruit plants are beginning to bud in the beautiful weather florida has been experiencing. The rains have brought more sun shine on!
When receiving plants a lot of times you find stowaway plants in the same pot. They might be grasses or weeds, but sometimes you find bonus plants along for the ride!
Other types include:
- Different Teeth types
- Different types of Reds
- Double Traps
Like a lot of Mango around this time, our tree is starting to show great signs of blooming!
I have always loved pomegranates as a kid. People finally found out their benefits of these gel covered seeds. I seen the cost rise once everyone found out, so I decided to plant my own! I have several different types of the usual fruit trees in florida, but never had a pomegranate. I got this beauty from @willisorchards
I’ve always liked the look of flowers from cherry trees. They all seemed to only grow outside of florida. I didn’t think the weather wasn’t something another variant can handle, until I looked around a little on @willisorchards site. They have a large variety of great trees! The ones I really want, of course don’t grow in my zone. Here are some shots of a Mt. Fuji and Kwanzan Cherry Trees. They haven’t flower yet, but at least they don’t look like just sticks delivered in a box.
