Today we look at more flowerings from a couple of sundews. These Adelae have great small looking red flowers.

The red form of the adelae seems to be a bit more forgiving then the green form. A lot of the green forms died out, but it has managed to send off small sprouts.

The flower of this Drosera close quite quickly.

Opening in the morning, they start closing around noon. I’ve been try to get shot of it for the past week!

Thread-leaved sundew in full swing after it’s winter hibernation.

The Filiformis tracyi doesn’t have red coloration in it’s tentacles, but is instead white.

When receiving plants a lot of times you find stowaway plants in the same pot. They might be grasses or weeds, but sometimes you find bonus plants along for the ride!

The most common type of weed-like carnivorous plant might be some species of drosera. Here is what I think is a Spatulata that just sprouted out of nowhere!
